Lopsided second half lifts A&M Consolidated over Whitehouse to advance to the Area Round

Whitehouse (7-4) was able to hang around in the first half, but A&M Consolidated’s offense proved to be too much for the Wildcats as the Tigers ran away with the game in the second half, defeating Whitehouse 40-12. A&M Consolidated running back Brian Darby led the way for the Tigers, scoring four touchdowns and accumulating 212 yards.

Coming off of a 459-yard, nine touchdown performance, in which he earned Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week honors last week, A&M Consolidated quarterback Caden Fedora didn’t have to do quite as much as the Wildcats keyed in on the Tiger passing game, opening up holes for Darby. Fedora finished the night 10-of-16 and 149 passing yards.
