UTEP football: Miners hope for second straight road win against Western Kentucky
The Miners have one lost shot at a road victory in 2018, and it comes against a reeling WKU.
EL PASO -- It's been 13 seasons since the Miners (1-9, 1-5 C-USA) have won back-to-back road games. On Saturday, UTEP will have its best shot for a win, as they take on the struggling Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (1-9, 0-6 C-USA), who are vying for their first conference win of the year.
But in order to do so, the Miners will have to learn to deal with their bulk of injuries, eliminate turnovers and play sound football in colder temperatures against the Hilltoppers.
