UTEP football: Miners seek potential C-USA upset against Louisiana Tech
The Miners have their work cut out against a talented conference opponent.
EL PASO -- UTEP football (0-6) will hit the road this week for C-USA play, as they take on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (4-2) on Saturday at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston, La.
The Miners are searching for a potential upset on the road after a strong outing against North Texas last week, barely falling 27-24 to the Mean Green at home. However, the Miners haven’t won a road game since their five-overtime thriller against UTSA on Oct. 22, 2016. They’ve lost 12 consecutive road games since then.
