Recruiting
Prospect Preview: Rockwall vs. Mesquite Horn
Who will be starring in this week's marquee match-up?
LB Kendrick Blackshire (Mesquite Horn - 2021) - Blackshire burst onto the recruiting scene with a monster freshman season for the Jaguars and started picking up major scholarship offers as a result. Schools like Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU, and Texas A&M have already offered. At 6-foot-2, 250 pounds, Blackshire is a thumper who will make ball carriers feel the pain.
QB Jacob Clark (Rockwall - 2019) - The 6-foot-5, 210-pounder is committed to Minnesota. Clark made a huge impact on the team last season after transferring into the program from Kansas. He has developed a rapport with his receivers and they are starting to operate the offense at a very high level.
