North Texas shakes off weather, slow start to rout Liberty

North Texas (4-0) wasn’t as sharp as we’d come to expect Saturday night – and that’s okay.

The final score still read 47-7 in favor of the Mean Green over Liberty and more importantly, UNT is still new to this whole “consistent winning” thing. One thing all good teams do is find a way to win, even in the worst of circumstances when things aren’t perhaps going correctly. Don’t forget, this North Texas Takeover is still in its infancy since we’re only two years out from the Mean Green going 5-8.
