Two spots in the 2018 Division I 7-on-7 State Tournament will be up for grabs Friday morning in the Big Country as Division I Texas 7-on-7 State Qualifying continues with the Abilene SQT. 16 teams will compete in four pools of four teams each with the four pool winners advancing to the State Qualifying Round, where the top two finishers in a single elimination bracket will advance to the 2018 Division I 7-on-7 State Tournament in College Station. Pool play will begin at 10:00am (Shotwell Stadium pool will start at 10:30am) and games will take place at Hardin-Simmons University, The FieldHouse in Abilene, Shotwell Stadium and McMurry University.
