Ranking the top 40 running backs in the 2019 class (Subscribers Only)
Katy's Deondrick Glass is atop this year's initial list.

Deondrick Glass has 3,602 rushing yards and 56 touchdowns in his last two seasons, landing him atop the initial list of the 40 best running backs in Texas for the 2019 recruiting class. The list is powered by Next Level Athlete and brought to you by Sportify Insurance. "Isaiah Spiller could very well end up being our No. 1," NLA's Dan Thompson said. The Klein Collins running back rushed for 1,284 yards and 23 scores as a junior, helping the Tigers go 11-0 before a loss in the third round of the playoffs to state semifinalist Longview. "He's versatile, explosive and has really good mitts out of backfield and in the slot," Thompson said. Spiller also caught 15 balls for 313 yards and four scores. He committed to Oklahoma back on Nov. 21. A few of Thompson's sleepers on this list who could be due for a move come fall: Kenny Haynes, Ulysses Bentley IV (He should get offers on his name alone," Thompson said.), Ladarius Wickware, Anthony Simms-Coleman, Todd Hudson II, Jerry Davis, Logan Bland and Bubba Monroe. Here's a look at the full list. For more information on Sportify Insurance or to apply, see Sportify's contact page. Check out the homepage or the Facebook page for more information.
