RECRUITING: What Texas A&M needs in the 2018 class

National signing day is coming fast, and we’ll be looking at each FBS team’s needs as the end of the 2018 recruiting season arrives. Next up: Texas A&M Biggest need: Defensive line  In the SEC, there might not be a more important position. The Aggies have been hit or miss there throughout the duration of their membership, suiting up stars like Myles Garrett, Daeshon Hall and Damontre Moore, but struggling late in the season to stop the run, giving way to Kevin Sumlin's fatal flaw: A 9-11 record in November in his final four seasons combined. Justin Madubuike was the only defensive line signee from 2017 to crack the depth chart by season's end, and this year's unit loses three starters: Zaycoven Henderson, Qualen Cunningham and Jarrett Johnson. The Aggies are thin there without any proven talents behind them that look like budding stars. How it's being addressed: The transition from Sumlin to $75 Million Man Jimbo Fisher has complicated the Aggies' 2018 class. Thus far, the class ranks just ninth in the SEC and 30th nationally with two early enrollees and eight more prospects who signed in December. Four more prospects, including three-star defensive end Tyree Wilson, are committed as Fisher tries to close out his hurried initial class in Aggieland. Four-star Max Wright headlines the group that have already signed, giving the Aggies a 6-4, 270-pound freshman who could compete for time in preseason camp. Juco transfer Mohamed Diallo is the nation's No. 54 overall juco prospect, giving the Aggies a 6-foot-4, 320-pound brick in the middle of the defensive line. He figures to crack the rotation early, giving the Aggies three solid prospects on the front line of the defense in the 2018 class. More recruiting needs:
