VOTE NOW: Built By Nature Assistant Coach of the Year
Fan votes will decide who takes home the coveted honor for the 2017 Texas high school football season.

Dairy Max and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football are proud to team up this year to honor excellence in coaching, and the hard work that assistant coaches put in on a weekly basis to prepare their teams for battle. We invite fans across Texas to help us select the individual that will be named the Built by Nature Assistant Coach of the Year. The five candidates are listed below, along with a poll to cast your vote. Albany offensive coordinator David Fairchild With superstar quarterback at the helm, Fairchild choreographed one of Class 2A's most explosive offenses, averaging more than 50 points per game en route to the regional finals. Cy-Fair defensive coordinator Robbie Legg The Bobcats' defense was impenetrable, allowing just 12.6 points per game and putting together a dominant effort in the 6A Division II state championship game to bring home Cy-Fair ISD's first crown. Graham OC Casey Dacus Class 4A had no answer for the high-flying Steers attack, who plowed through opponents to the tune of 50+ points per game as they drove to the state semifinals. Highland Park offensive coordinator Grayson Wells Quarterback John Stephen Jones and company formed one of the state's most dangerous attacks, and Wells saved the best for last, putting together a remarkable offensive performance to nab the 5A Division I state championship. Newton defensive coordinator Drew Johnston One of the fastest units in the state, Johnston was at the controls of a menacing force for the Eagles, as linebacker Tanner Holmes and company smothered opponents en route to the 3A Division II state championship.
