Awarding Allen's Adam Garry with the Soulman's BBQ Heart and Soul Player of the Week award

Adam Garry is a senior defensive lineman for the Allen Eagles and has been recently diagnosed with cancer. From what Coach Gambill told us, the football staff and the kids in the program think the absolute world of Adam and believe him to be the most deserving recipient for this award. Adam is aspiring to pursue a career in TV broadcast, and joined our very own Anthony Armstrong to test his chops. As a part of this recognition, Adam will receive a $500 scholarship on behalf of Soulman’s BBQ and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. In addition to this, Soulman’s BBQ has declared every Tuesday from here to the end of the school year as “Spirit Day” where 10 percent of all proceeds will go to Allen High School and another 10 percent will be given to Adam Garry and his family.
