2016 DCTF Summer MainThe annual summer edition of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine will soon be on racks (June 24) all across Texas! This year’s cover features a new-school spin on an old-school classic, with the modern day “Plotter and Executioner”: Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury and quarterback Pat Mahomes. The 57th edition of “the bible of Texas football” proclaims Kingsbury as “the kingmaker,” ready to guide Mahomes and the Red Raiders to a resurgent 2016 season. The style of the magazine is a nod to the iconic 1963 cover of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football featuring Texas coach Darrel K Royal and lineman Scott Appleton.
