Jake Shaw quickly surveys this weekend's college action across Texas.
Texas 41, Oklahoma State 36
It was the previously-maligned Texas offense, not the usually steady defense, that won this game for the Longhorns. Texas (4-0, 1-0 in Big 12) scored the winning touchdown in the final 30 seconds on an 8-play, two-minute drive, answering Oklahoma State's (2-2, 0-1) field goal that had temporarily put OSU ahead. Texas's win won't come without controversy, though, as replay showed Joe Bergeron fumbled before reaching the end zone, but the officials had awarded a TD on the field, preventing a reversal. QB David Ash (307 yards, 3 TDs) had a breakout game that included a 29-yard completion on fourth down on UT's game-winning drive.
