As helpful as homefield advantage can be in high school football — and it can be a pretty darn big advantage — I somehow decided that, out of 18 games previewed here, that 11 road teams were going to walk out as winners. What's wrong with me? Maybe nothing — in what could be a wild Week 8, a number of ranked teams are hitting the busses to wrangle talented foes (Allen-Marcus, anyone?), and with the playoffs just three weeks away now, you have to assume that it's all-or-nothing for many teams from this point on. The writing is on the wall for upsets and crazy finishes galore — better buckle up.
