Usually, Week 5 doesn't net much movement in the weekly Top 25 polls — so many small schools (and six-team 5A/4A districts) take a bye on the unofficial midpoint of the season that the "Previous Result" column starts to look a little bare. But we ended up with a surprising amount of shift as we step into the second half of the season, especially in Class 4A — where the north-Houston area schools are making a charge into the state-wide consciousness.
