Although the “Willacy County Cotton Bowl” will take place Lyford this year, the road to 31-3A district championship still runs through Raymondville. Both the Bulldogs and the Bearkats will be entering rebuilding seasons, but that doesn't mean this rivalry is any less heated especially considering the enormous impact this rivalry game had on these two teams last season.
