Last week, I took on the challenge of getting to know a bit more about the six-man football scene by doing a bit of basic statistical analysis on the Division II season from 2010. To me, it shed some light on the innate nature of the game: it’s an offense-heavy game, but the teams that combine a strong offense with a stymieing defense are the ones that find themselves with the most success.
