4A Games to Watch: Tivy's run for One

ByTravis Stewart/Texas Football -- Tivy's non-district run continues — can it take the No. 1 spot this weekend?

Aledo's win last week at Lake Travis changed the dynamic of Class 4A — the 14-10 victory moved the group from a dethrone-the-king atmosphere (with LT, formerly winners of 48 straight, wearing the crown) to a fierce free-for-all for No. 1. Aledo, John Tyler, Brenham, Kerrville Tivy, Lake Travis and Denton Ryan all legitimate claims at the top spot, as does Cedar Park. Right now, Aledo wears the yellow jacket — winning on the road against a three-time champ will do that. But now Tivy makes the same trip, and if Johnny Manziel and Co. stage a similar upset, there's going to be a growing portion of the population clamoring for a new top dog. Without further ado, the games.
