Adam James on tap at tight end?
According to Tommy Tuberville, that could be the case. Since Mike Leach was never too big on the tight end during his Lubbock tenure, the slightly more traditional Tuberville didn't exactly have a line at the door of qualified candidates to fill the void in his offense. But James, the former Celina star that famously clashed with Leach before his firing, is as likely a candidate as any. The bad news -- James hasn't really been practicing that kind of position during his tenure in Lubbock. The good news -- he could still end up being state's best one by this time next year.
