James Franklin showing up at Missouri
Remember James Franklin, who dominated at Lake Dallas throughout his high school career? Well, he signed his talents on with Missouri back in February after an early enrollee plan. Spring drills have been going well for him, so far -- he was taking snaps with the third team, and looking sharp. His dual-threat talents will be impossible to ignore. But the bigger issue, even more than reading defenses and hitting the weight room, is getting the attention you need from the coaching staff with so many young guys on the roster. The Dallas Morning News has a little more info here, but the bottom line is that the coaching staff there has a plan to develop their youthful stars. How Franklin fits into that plan is info we're usually not privvy to. But it might be something to keep an eye on.
