The first-team defense wouldn't be complete without an Aggie, and Dat Nguyen is likely the best A&M footballer since John David Crow.
Though not possessed with great size, Nguyen was an immaculate tackler and never shied away from contact. But more importantly, he was durable and reliable. His 51 straight starts is still a school record, and he almost always played his best against the toughest opponents.
