WEEK 14 WINNER: Sulphur Springs QB Tyrik RollisonHow can a player that has consistently proven himself amongst the state's elite possibly push himself even higher in popular opinion? By playing the game of his life in a state quarterfinal, that's how.
Sulphur Springs QB Tyrik Rollison did exactly that last weekend, totaling seven touchdowns and throwing for 387 yards in a 52-47 shootout victory over Rockwall-Heath. Rollison asserted himself early on, scoring the game's first three touchdowns -- all in the first quarter -- to push his Wildcats out to a 21-point lead. His five touchdown passes showed his mastery of almost every throw in the book, as he found targets from 16, 18, 9, 62 and 13 yards for scores.
