LIKE ITS RIVALS, A&M GETS SECOND QB (2/27/09)
Apparently this whole thing about getting verbals from two quarterbacks in one class is pretty popular.
Just more than week after UT added a second signal-caller to its 2010 class, Texas A&M has done the same; now long-committed Jameill Showers (Killeen Shoemaker) will have Dickinson's Clay Honeycutt to contend with. Still, both are very different players -- Showers is a little more of a dual-threat type, whereas Honeycutt is more of a pro-style. But both are very good athletes, and each would have a legitimate chance at beating out the other for a starting gig down the road.
