This forthcoming statement has not been well-researched, but we’d be pretty surprised if more than a small handful of teams have suffered a similar fate as Sundown’s 2005 season.
The Roughnecks opened the season going 6-1, the sole loss coming to a 2A team (Idalou) that eventually went three playoff rounds deep. Sundown’s solid play carried over to a small district, where it went 2-1.
