The 5A Weekend in Review:Austin Bowie 35, SA Roosevelt 28
Apparently, these never-say-die Roosevelt Roughriders met their match this weekend. Bowie, trailing 28-18 at the start of the final frame, outscored Roosevelt 17-0 the rest of the way, capped by a game-winning one-yard score by QB Trevor Ingram with just more than a minute to play. The hero of the night was Sheldon Catley, who churned out 270 rushing yards for Bowie. But don't overlook K Eduardo Alexander, who hit field goals of 46, 42 and 42 yards -- taking away a few of those changes everything.
