I know today is usually the week's toughest day to get through -- but this is a little rough even for a Monday. It seems like every bit of high school news we've found lately has been the bad kind. From bad decisions to tragic accidents, the world of prep football has been a bit of a downer. We here at TexasFootball.com know our site has been a bit out of touch with the high school ranks recently -- our time-consuming special 50th edition commemorative book is the culprit -- but we'll try and get you up to speed today, the first week day of August and 24 days away from kickoff. Too bad it's a Monday, though.
