One of the longest roads to the NFL was finally completed yesterday, with former Langham Creek running back Jonathan Combs signing as a free agent with the Washington Redskins.
A standout at Langham Creek HS, Combs played collegiately in East Texas for Tyler Junior College, ventured to South Texas with Texas A&M-Kingsville and then came back to Tyler at Texas College, the latter a small four-year arts institution.
