DCTF staff writer Travis Stewart got a chance to spend a few minutes one-on-one with both former Redskin great Joe Theismann and OU quarterback Sam Bradford after they were both inducted into an illustrious brotherhood: Davey O'Brien award winners, named after the former TCU legend. Bradford won the award you've likely heard of, the Davey O'Brien that is given out to the nation's top quarterback at the end of each season. But there are also a number of other recognitions given out along with it, and Theismann, an NCAA Hall of Famer, was this year's recipient of the Legends award, which is annually granted to a former football great that has given back to the sporting world.
