Southlake Carroll clears itself from steroid allegation

National champion Southlake Carroll has concluded a week-long internal investigation of its football program and high school and has determined that no steroid problem exists at its school.

Last month, The Dallas Morning News reported that nine players at Colleyville Heritage surfaced as anabolic steroid users. One of the students pointed his finger at both Southlake Carroll and Grapevine as schools with at least one player on steroids. Southlake Carroll then began investigating the allegation, and on Tuesday said no evidence has been found to support the claim from its rival on the football field.
