Perhaps the state's top junior running back, Jamaal Evans has withdrawn from Irving after being suspended from the Dallas-area high school earlier this week.
The 5-8, 170-pound Evans was included among the state's 'Top Underclassmen' in the 2004 edition of Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine. Evans didn't disappoint as a junior and has gained 4,556 yards on 663 carries, with 53 TDs, the past two seasons.
