TCU and Texas Tech both had impressive outings last weekend. The Frogs had no trouble disposing of Stanford 31-14, while the Red Raiders dominated every phase of the game in a 43-7 drubbing of SMU.
These performances, coupled with Texas’s inactivity due to Hurricane Ike, were enough to tighten the gap between the three frontrunners.
