Welcome back to the power poll -- the college football season has officially begun!
After a Week 1 hiatus, the TexasFootball.com College Power Poll is back to rank all 10 in-state FBS teams on a weekly basis. Created for the 2008 season, the Power Poll ran each Tuesday, and popular demand has brought it back for another go. Last year, Texas finished out on top after a 12-1 season and a Fiesta Bowl victory over Ohio State. With back-to-back victories to open the year, nothing has changed there. But Houston and TCU both can lay legitimate arguments to the No. 1 slot after big wins -- Houston's 45-35 shootout victory with AP No. 5 Oklahoma State and the Horned Frogs' thorough thrashing of Virginia on the road.
