Former Hurst L.D. Bell quarterback Chase Holbrook is following his former head coach, Hal Mumme, and is transferring from I-AA Southeastern Louisiana to New Mexico State.
The 6-6, 225-pound Holbrook played sparingly in 10 games as a true freshman last season, completing seven of nine passes for 79 yards and also contributing on special teams. A native Texan, Mumme departed Southeastern Louisiana for New Mexico State last December and recently completed spring practice for the Aggies, who compete in the Western Athletic Conference.
