Gridiron Heroes, a non-profit group based in Central Texas focused on supporting families of athletes that suffer spinal cord injuries, is sponsoring a golf tournament in Horseshoe Bay involving several NFL stars in early May.
The inaugural Eltekon Celebrity Classic sponsored by TNT Express will be held at Horseshoe Bay Resort east of Austin (outside Marble Falls). The event will be hosted by former NFL stars Cris Carter and Mike Caldwell and current players Troy Vincent and Bobby Taylor, and will begin with a Welcome Reception on Thursday, May 5, followed by an 18-hole golf tournament and Celebrity Gala on Friday, May 6.
