In our latest 'Where Are They Now?' edition, Texasfootball.com discovered former 'Super Team' defensive back Lawrence Richardson on the football field in NFL Europe, and among the 33 players in the league with ties to the Lone Star State.
A 5-10, 185-pound cornerback from Galveston Ball, Richardson was selected to our prestigious first-team 'Super Team' in the 1999 edition of Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine. Our 1999 Preseason Defensive Player of the Year (Odessa Permian WR Roy Williams was our Preseason Offensive Player of the Year that season), Richardson later signed with Arkansas instead of following Williams to Texas, and started all 34 games he played in for the Razorbacks.
