Don't bother complaining if you're a Texas fan -- we've heard them all before.
Texas and TCU both sit atop our preseason Power Poll, the first time all year that the Longhorns have failed to hold sole possession of first place. And at this point, you can't shout either team down. Texas passed its Oklahoma test, drubbed OSU, beat Tech on national television and survived A&M's best punch. TCU, on the other hand, beat a Clemson team (on the road) that was in the mix for the ACC title, topped bowl-bound SMU and Air Force programs, and then crushed ranked BYU and Utah squads ... convincingly. And let's be honest -- Missouri, Kansas, Baylor, UTEP ... none are much better than Colorado State, San Diego State or UNLV right now. And Wyoming ... well, that's still Wyoming, in both cases.
