The NFL announced key 2005 season-opening games yesterday, with the Dallas Cowboys scheduled to open their fall schedule at San Diego on Sept. 11.
It will be the first meeting between Dallas and San Diego since 2001 (a 32-21 loss by the Cowboys). The last trip for Dallas to San Diego was a 23-9 win during the Super Bowl championship season under coach Barry Switzer in 1995.
