Aggies pull away from Baylor late, 31-21
It's coming, Texas A&M coaches kept saying. One of these days, dynamic freshman running back Mike Goodson is going to break a long run.
It finally transpired Saturday night, and it happened to occur on the Aggies' biggest play of the season – clinching a 31-21 victory over Baylor in a crucial Big 12 South showdown. A&M faced third-and-4 from its 36-yard line, nursing a three-point lead with 2:22 left. The Aggies called a draw to Goodson, whose carries were limited early in the season because of fumbling problems.
