Crab’s grab seals Texas’ fate, 39-33
The eyes of Texas - and the rest of the country - are all now on Texas Tech. Just when it looked like the Red Raiders were headed for another heartbreaking defeat to the No. 1 Longhorns, Tech’s dynamic duo stepped up to give Tech its biggest win in school history.
Mike Crabtree, who was quiet for most of the second half, caught a 28-yard touchdown pass with 1 second remaining to give No. 7 Tech a 39-33 victory in front of a record-crowd of 56,333 Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium.
DCTF's Take: Has Tech finally broken through the glass ceiling that has seemingly held it back from national prominence? We can't say this team will win a national title, but for maybe the first time ever, we can say it just might.
