UT stays grounded in win over Tech
Texas left no doubt it's a running team once again, thanks to the mad dashes of Jamaal Charles, the churning legs of Vondrell McGee and the jukes of Colt McCoy, who broke three tackles with two Barry Sanders-like spin moves on a 22-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter.
By staying on the ground, the 15th-ranked Longhorns ate clock on drives of 13, 17, 16 and 10 plays and kept Texas Tech's offense off the field in a 59-43 victory Saturday.
