The fourth 200-win coach to retire from the Texas high school football sideline since the close of the 2004 season is Bruce Bush from San Marcos, in our latest coaching update from across the Lone Star State.
The 56-year old Bush compiled a record of 234-93-7 with coaching stops at Dimmitt (1976-77), Livingston ('77-81), Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ('81-83), Alice ('83-89), Gregory-Portland ('89-95), Donna ('95-97) and finally San Marcos ('97-04).
