Houston high school football star shot, killed in carjacking
A terrible story is developing out of Houston -- and one that we, as media, dread reporting. KHOU in Houston has reported that Houston Worthing RB De'Andre Elliott was shot and killed Thursday night in Houston. Please follow the link for more information, but Elliott was reportedly approached by suspects who demanded his car, then shot him and sped away. There are still details to track down, but regardless, this is a horrible story -- one that feels all too common in the modern day.
