GAMES TO WATCH:
No. 1 Katy vs. No. 5 Galena Park North Shore: Katy, 9-7
Just like last year, the defenses dominated early and often, but it was a critical error that ended up icing the game. Facing a fourth-and 45 with under a minute to play, North Shore opted to punt -- the snap was bad, and the ball sailed over the kicker's head. The result was a safety, and Katy went on to win it. The result snaps North Shore's state-leading 78-game regular season win streak.

Actual result: Katy by 2
Wylie at Hebron: Hebron, 37-14
Wylie clearly has work to do after last year's run to the DII finals. Hebron, on the other hand, may have found a new leader -- QB Kyle Aubuchon, who threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third. This matchup has always been a great one, and we may see it in the playoffs once again.
