3A Games to Watch: Big clash in Valley; surprise teams battle in 9-3A

Top Class 3A Game to WatchNo. 23 Hidalgo (5-1, 0-0 in 32-3A) at No. 14 Rio Hondo (7-0, 1-0)
Rio Hondo seems to know the trick to winning. Or at least they've come up with the formula that works best for them: hold the opponent to two TDs or less.
Since the start of the 2005 season, Rio Hondo hasn't lost when it has held the opposition under 21 points. Last year, Rio Hondo failed twice at it, and both were losses (21-8 to Cuero in the playoffs, and 28-21 to Port Isabel in district play). This year, no team has come close to reaching that magic number.
