2A-I state semifinals: Brady (13-0) vs. Pilot Point (13-0), 2:00 Saturday at Tarleton State's Memorial Stadium
Pilot Point faces another unbeaten team and once again will try to ride the power running of RB Jarman Johnson to victory. Brady counters with a throwback offense that nobody sees any more, the Wing-T. That makes it hard for opposing defenses to prepare, and Brady used that to its advantage last week when the Bulldogs rolled up 400 rushing yards in a 43-34 win over Amarillo River Road. Pilot Point will face its third consecutive unbeaten team after beating Gunter and Godley.
