5A: McAllen Memorial
Hollywood couldn’t have written a better script for the Mustangs. A comeback-overtime-win over the crosstown rival and district preseason favorite McAllen Bulldogs. The 48-45 win also clinched a playoff spot, and marked a successful turnaround from a 1-9 2007 campaign.
