A Houston Texans secondary that already included corners Dunta Robinson and Aaron Glenn has been boosted by the acquisition last night of cornerback Phillip 'Showtime' Buchanon, from the Oakland Raiders.
Buchanon, a first-round pick in 2002 by the Raiders, had become disgruntled with Raiders coaches and officials since the end of the 2004 season. While the Raiders were finally able to ship Buchanon, Oakland is still trying to trade its other starting cornerback, Charles Woodson.
