Jeff Cordell from Gainesville, Tom Howard from Henrietta and Todd McVey from McKinney have been chosen to coach the Texas all-stars in the 68th-annual Oil Bowl in June.
Notably, Howard led the 2A Bearcats to their first state semifinal appearance in school history last December. It was a major rebuilding task for Howard when he arrived at Henrietta in 1998 - he lost his first 21 games before collecting his first 'V' at the school which is located southeast of Wichita Falls.
