Frenship in prime position:
We knew Wolfforth Frenship was going to be on the move once the news broke that Abilene Cooper would likely be moving up and Big Spring would likely be moving down. Both of those rumors turned out to be true. The result for Frenship was golden -- the perennially-powerful Tigers got placed with the Amarillo and Canyon schools, which haven't been Region I's strongest areas recently. Hereford and Plainview came along, too, but Frenship has been the most consistent of all those teams. The Tigers could nail down two straight district titles.
