“ALMOST PERFECT: Texas and TCU both celebrated championships, but neither was THE champion”
CARROLLTON, TX, (January 21, 2010): Dave Campbell’s Texas Football is proud to release the 2010 Winter Edition magazine, the third of its kind and second in a row to feature a Longhorn wide receiver on its cover. This year’s edition, titled “Almost Perfect” and sporting the likes of UT’s Jordan Shipley and TCU’s Jerry Hughes, takes a look at both the Longhorns and Horned Frogs, teams that enjoyed conference championship seasons – only to come a step short in the postseason. We take a look at where those teams started, where they went, and what they need to do to take the next step in 2010. We also examine what Texas Tech’s hire of Tommy Tuberville means in Lubbock.
